The guy running the show
Adam has over 30 years of professional experience in the photographic realm, from large and small format film cameras, black and white wet darkroom processing and printing techniques through to the latest digital camera technology and the digital darkroom. Adam has extensive knowledge of all the important photographic software like Photoshop, Lightroom, Camera Raw, Capture One and specialist panoramic stitching programs like PT Gui Pro. He can show you how they are easily and practically applied to your images, without all the confusing technical double-talk.
With lots of experience in facilitating discussions Adam will quickly help you understand how to work on your images to make them really sing, and the hands-on techniques for leading groups in the field to amazing places like Tasmania, the Kimberley, Pilbara, Bhutan, Iceland, Greenland, Japan, Cambodia or even Margaret River, are where the adventure really begins.
Adam has Been using digital cameras since their first commercial availability, when 2 megapixels was the biggest available and hugely expensive, but he grew up shooting film and processing his own Black and whites in the laundry sink and printing in the bathroom with black plastic over the windows.
Adam has spent many years travelling to remote far flung locations, both within Australia and Overseas, in the pursuit of the most amazing experiences firstly, but also to bring back the best photographic images of these places. He is a well seasoned traveller which helps make the travelling experience smoother and more fun.
